We emphasize art programs for the underserved, as well as for individuals navigating ADHD, PTSD, and other learning differences.

Community has always been a core value. I built a career in teaching and producing in theatre, arts workshops and community events. Over the years, I've worked with former child soldiers, recent refugees, children in Juvenile Detention, women in rehab, and people with learning differences.
I've learned that the trauma and marginalization makes these populations feel like they don't have the right to self-expression. But not expressing yourself in society is the same as not belonging. So it has become my life's work to build community through the arts, to create spaces where people know they belong.
For this reason, I got a Ph.D. in Culture, Literacy, and Language.
